History
The company was founded in 2007 by Dr Stuart Taylor BSc (Hons 1st) PhD, based on his widely-acknowledged and published works.
Stuart undertook environmental and geochemical assessments for over 20 years and was one of few professionals in Australia with the qualifications and expertise to undertake major sediment quality investigations and assess risks posed to aquatic environments by various organic and inorganic contaminants. Stuart co-authored books and numerous international and peer-reviewed scientific journal articles on specialist, technical topics related to environmental geochemistry, and broadcast segments on ABC Radio’s National Science programs.
Stuart unfortunately passed away in late 2020, after 17 years of dedication to the industry and valued clients. Now Geochemical Assessments strives to uphold what Stuart had achieved. His two sons, Jack and Warwick continue to provide an efficient and professional service.
